Politics…

…bring out the worst in people sometimes. I swear.

I hate election years. People assume that, because I am a Christian, I must be super conservative. I’m not. Other people assume that because I am a younger voter, I must be super liberal. I’m not. I actually like to listen to both sides of an issue, and I don’t really have a leaning. GO. FIGURE.

Another thing that annoys me: politicians holding campaign rallies in churches. Besides the fact that it flies in the face of the separation of church and state principle, I am offended that the house of God is being used by politicians for self-promotion. I’m ashamed of the politicians, and the churches that allow them to use their building.

Whew. Got that out of my system.
